FAQ’S

How should I prepare for my hair appointment ?

If you are coming in for a color service, please come in with clean hair. This allows me to see where your hair naturally lays and the bleach doesn’t have to work extra to get through all the grease + products! For all haircuts, a shampoo is complimentary and comes with your service.

Why does it take so long for a balayage service ?

With any modern highlighting balayage techniques, it takes time to get the results that clients wants. From all the face framing details to the placements of the highlight. This is all done carefully and strategically while keeping the health of your hair in mind. While I do provide drinks and snacks for guests, please make sure you eat before your appointment and bring a little lunch with you. Depending on your hairs length and density, it can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours !

Can you give me a price estimate ?

All prices are base prices. If you have finer or shorter hair, this is the price you’ll be charged. If you have thicker or longer hair, you’ll be charged extra due to more products being used and more time required. I can give an estimate if you send me pictures of your hair and describing your hair density and length. However, this price isn’t guaranteed and will be adjusted accordingly.

How can I protect my hair from getting damaged from all the processing and chemicals ?

For all color services, I recommend clients to add on an Olaplex treatment to their service to prevent as much damage as possible. This is added to your color, and lightener mixture. Our hair bonds gets broken during any hair coloring services. Olaplex helps protect and repair any of these broken bonds during the service.

Help! My hair is looking brassy, how can I fix this ?

Hair gloss/toners fades within 4-6 weeks. It is normal for your hair to start looking warmer once the toner fades out after your appointment. There’s a maintenance service you can do! Book for a gloss appointment and the color will be put back on so you’re all brand new again! In the meantime, you can use blue shampoo to fight any orange! For yellow hair, neutralize it by using a purple shampoo! Do not overuse these shampoos as it can make your hair dry and dull.

I have recently boxed dyed my hair black, but want to go blonde. What should I do ?

We have all been in this position before ! Don’t worry, it can be fixed with a color correction service! For all color corrections, results varies. It varies because your hair can become too weak to be pushed any further. When this happens, we have to rinse your lightener off and tone your hair according to the lightness level you are at. Due to this, I recommend going back to blonde with sessions so your hair can feel healthier!

What's your cancellation policy ?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I require a 48-hour notice before your scheduled appointment. There will be a 50% charge of the service scheduled if cancelled any later. I understand that life happens! Please just keep the time frame in mind and be courteous.
